Arrival Information
Visiting students should schedule their flights to arrive on Sunday, February 23, 2014. All student groups should try to arrive on the same flight or around the same time.
Massachusetts Maritime Academy cadets will be there for pick up. MMA cadets will be holding a Welcome sign for Shanghai Maritime University and/or Dalian Maritime University.
We will travel straight to campus! Be aware of the following:

Students must have travel size toiletries (soap, shampoo, toothpaste, toothbrush, hairbrush, towel, etc.) to last at least a week.

Sheets, blankets, and pillows will be provided.

There will be an opportunity to shop for necessary items within the week.

Students will be expected to have the following upon arrival:

Passports

Signed admission's Letter

DS-2019

Photocopies of complete immunization records (translated in English)

Board Fee ($2,500)

Health Insurance Fee (about $750)

SMU/DMU Daily classroom uniforms (at least two sets)

Include uniform winter Jacket, black gloves, and comfortable black dress shoes for every day use.

SMU/DMU dress uniform for formal events

Civilian clothes for the winter, summer, and rainy season.

Include scarf, hat or cap, gloves, waterproof boots, winter coat, and rainjacket.

There will be an opportunity to shop for these items the second week after your arrival.

Ladies should bring one formal dress

At least 3 small items that represent your culture (for presentation purposes)
